TeachWell are delighted to be recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher for a supportive and inclusive setting in Lowestoft. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with a strong background in supporting primary school aged children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and a passion for inclusive education.
This role would suit someone patient, resilient, and creative, with a proven ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of children with a wide range of learning, communication, and social-emotional needs.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to support pupils with EHCPs across a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech & language, and social-emotional challenges.
Work closely with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals to deliver personalised learning programmes.
Track progress against EHCP targets and ensure outcomes are reviewed and achieved.
Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued and able to succeed.
Develop positive relationships with parents, carers, and agencies to support each child holistically.
Promote wellbeing, independence, and life skills alongside academic learning.
