Ten years ago, TeachWell didn’t start in a shiny office, with big plans and polished branding.
It started… at home, With Nathan and a dog (Arguably the more organised of the two.)
Back then, there were no teams, no busy phones ringing off the hook—just a vision, a laptop, and a determination to do recruitment differently. A lot of graft, a lot of learning, and probably quite a few cups of tea later, TeachWell began to grow.
The Early Days
Picture this: emails being sent from the sofa, calls taken between dog walks, and a business being built around a belief that schools and staff deserved better.
Better communication, better relationships, and better support.
No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just doing things properly. It’s still exactly what TeachWell stands on today.
Growing Into Something Bigger
Fast forward a decade and things look a little different.
The dog is still important (obviously), but now there’s a team, strong partnerships with schools, and a brilliant network of teachers and teaching assistants who make everything worthwhile.
From those first placements to now supporting schools across primary settings, it’s been a journey built on trust, hard work, and genuinely caring about getting it right.
A 10-Year Celebration… Vegas Style
Because turning 10 isn’t something you just quietly acknowledge.
You go to Las Vegas.
Over the Easter break, TeachWell marked the milestone in true style—taking a moment to step away, celebrate the journey, and look ahead to what’s next (with maybe a cocktail or two along the way).
From a sofa and a dog… to the bright lights of Vegas. Not bad going.
